Rasūl Muhammadī

Rasūl Muhammadī holds a Master’s degree in Persian Language and Literature from Shiraz University and is currently a PhD candidate in the same field at the same institution.

His research primarily focuses on literary criticism and theory, contemporary Persian literature, and Persian epic literature. He has published several peer-reviewed articles across these areas. His article “Tabyīn-i naqsh-i guftimān-i adabī dar zuhūr-i hākimiyat-i Pahlavī” (An explanation of the role of literary discourse in the emergence of Pahlavi rule) appeared in Pazhūhashʹhā-yi adabī (Tarbiyat Mudarris University), offering a critical examination of the intersection between literature and political transformation. In Literary Studies, he explored the ideological dimensions of Mahmūd Dawlatʹābādī’s short stories in “Tahlīl-i bāztāb-i īdiūlūjīk-i tazād-i tārīkhī-yi dawlat–millat dar dāstānʹhā-yi kūtāh-i Mahmūd Dawlatʹābādī” (An analysis of the ideological traces of the historical contradiction between state–nation in the short stories of Mahmūd Dawlatʹābādī). He has also contributed to research on classical literature with his article “Tahlīl-i kārkard-i sākhtah-ʾi ipīsudīk dar Tārīkh-i Bayhaqī bā takyah bar «Vāqiʿah-ʾi Būbakr Hasīrī» va «Hikāyat-i Afshīn va Būdlaf» (The function of episodic structure in Tārīkh-i Bayhaqī, with a focus on «Vāqiʿah-ʾi Būbakr Hasīrī» and «Hikāyat-i Afshīn va Būdlaf») published in Pazhūhashʹnāmah-ʾi Adabiyāt-i Taʿlīmī (Journal of didactic literature). Additionally, his intertextual study titled “Būdan yā nabūdan: Nigāhī Biynāʹmatnī bar Vīlīʾām Shikspīr, Ahmad Shāmlū va Mahdī Akhavān Sālis” (To be or not to be: An intertextual reading of William Shakespeare, Ahmad Shāmlū, and Mahdī Akhavān Sālis) was published in Adabiyāt-i tatbīqī (Comparative literature quarterly).
