Nasir Ahmad Arian
Nasir Ahmad Arian is an assistant teaching professor of Persian language at Penn State University. He has also taught Persian language and literature at Al-Beruni University in Afghanistan for 12 years. Arian completed his graduate studies in Persian language and literature at Allameh Tabataba’i and Shiraz Universities in Iran. His dissertation, “A Semiotic Approach to the Analysis of the Discursive Metamorphosis of Six Distinctive Novels of 80s &90s in Afghanistan,” is a critical study of the Persian fiction in Afghanistan. He has published 6 Books and tens of academic articles on Persian literature in authentic academic journals in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and India.
