Maziar Chabok

Seyed Hossein Maziar Chabok is a PhD candidate at the Centre of Excellence for International Business at Kedge Business School in Marseille. He received a B.A. from the University of Mazandaran and holds a master’s degree in International Marketing from the Institute for Management and Planning Studies (IMPS), Tehran. His research interests are focused on International Business, Dual Embeddedness, Absorptive Capacity, Headquarters-subsidiary relationship, and organizational theories (such as Network Theory, Attention-Based View, and Resource-Based theory). Maziar is a multidisciplinary scholar who has authored (Rukhdād-i fahm: Sharhī bar kārʹnāmah-ʾi shāꜥirān-i Hirmisī-i muꜥāsir-i Īrān, Hermetic poetry in Iran) and translated books by Hans-Georg Gadamer, Otto Pöggeler, Jusef Piepper from German into Farsi in the fields of literature (with a focus on Paul Celan) and hermeneutics. His translation from Wer bin ich und wer bist du [Who am I and who are you] written by Gadamer was the winner of the 3rd Iranian Youth Book of the Year prize.
