Maziar Chabok
Maziar (Seyed Hossein, originally) Chabok is a PhD candidate at the Centre of Excellence for International Business at Kedge Business School in Marseille. He received a B.A. from the University of Mazandaran and holds a master’s degree in International Marketing from the Institute for Management and Planning Studies (IMPS), Tehran. His research interests are focused on International Business, Dual Embeddedness, Absorptive Capacity, Headquarters-subsidiary relationship, and organizational theories (such as Network Theory, Attention-Based View, and Resource-Based theory). Maziar is a multidisciplinary scholar who has authored (Hermetic Poetry in Iran) and translated books (by Hans-Georg Gadamer, Otto Pöggeler, Jusef Piepper) from German into Farsi in the fields of literature (focus on Paul Celan) and hermeneutics. His translation from Wer bin ich und wer bist du [Who am I and who are you] written by Gadamer was the winner of the 3rd Iranian Youth Book of the Year prize.
