Maryam Shadmohammadi
Maryam Shadmohammadi holds a PhD in Persian Language and Literature from Azad University, Tehran Central Branch. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Persian Language and Literature at Azad University, Chalous, Mazandaran. Her research interests include Shahnameh studies, contemporary Iranian storytelling, humor and satire in Persian literature, and Iranian mysticism. She also engages in interdisciplinary research, exploring the intersections of literature and psychology. In addition to her work on classical and modern Persian literary traditions, Dr. Shadmohammadi has contributed to studies on the institutional landscape of Iranian Studies, including research on the development of the field in Europe, North America, Japan, and Parsi Studies. Her scholarship continues to bridge classical Persian literary heritage with contemporary critical approaches.
