Farideh Pourgiv
Farideh Pourgiv is retired professor of English literature, Shiraz University, one of the founding members of Shiraz University Center for Iranian Children’s Literature Studies, Iran and a member of Hafez Studies center for over two decades. She has taught BA, MA and PhD courses on comparative literature, mythology, translation and English literature. She has contributed several entries on Persian novelists in World Novel, 1900 to the Present (2008), three entries on Persian translations of Alice in the Wonderland in Alice in A World of Wonderlands (2015) and coauthored a chapter in The Art of Teaching Persian Literature: From Theory to Practice (August 2024). She is the founder and editor of Persian Literary Studies Journal (plsj.shirazu.ac.ir).
