Sonia Balassanian—سونیا بالاسانیان

Definition:

Sonia Balassanian is an Iranian-Armenian painter and poetess. She was born in the city of Arak in 1942. She graduated in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in the United States. Balassanian has two collections of poetry in Armenian which were published from Yerevan in 2006 as a single volume.
