Mānā Āqāyī—مانا آقایی


Mānā Āqāyī (b. 1973) is an Iranian poet and translator. She was born in the city of Bushehr in southern Iran, later immigrating to Sweden in 1987. She is also a literary critic and is considered one of the pioneers in developing the Persian engagement with haiku poetry. She has published several collections of poetry, which have been translated into numerous languages, and which include Dar imtidād-i parvāz and Zimistān maʿshūq-i man ast.
