Definition:

Humā Mīrafshār (b. 1946) is an Iranian poet and songwriter. She was born in Tehran and began writing poetry in her youth. Her lyrics have been put to song by most prominent Iranian singers in the diaspora, including Ebī, Hāyidah, and Dāryūsh. She is the recipient of Persian Golden Lioness awards, bestowed in recognition of her lyrics. She has published several poetry compilations, which include such titles as Gulpūnahā and Ālālih.
