Fātimah Rākiʿī (b. 1954) is an Iranian poet, activist and politician who was mostly a cultural and literary figure before winning a seat in 6th Parliamentary elections in 2000 as a Reformist candidate. In 1989, she founded the Office of Younge Poets, which became a hub for young and promising poets to flourish. She has published several collections of poetry which includes titles such as safar-I sūkhtan and Mādarānih-ha. She also has been an outspoken advocate for women’s issues in Iran.
