Azadeh Najafian
Azadeh Najafian is originally from Shiraz, Iran. She holds a Ph.D. in Persian Literature from Shiraz University (2019) and a master’s degree in Folk Studies from Western Kentucky University (2021). Her research and interests include Women and Gender Studies, Modern and Contemporary Literature, Fantasy, and Comics and Graphic Novels. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she teaches Persian language courses to both undergraduate and graduate students.
