Rasoul Mohammadi
Rasoul Mohammadi holds a Master’s degree in Persian Language and Literature from Shiraz University and is currently a PhD candidate in the same field at the same institution.
His research primarily focuses on literary criticism and theory, contemporary Persian literature, and Persian epic literature. He has published several peer-reviewed articles across these areas. His article “An Explanation of the Role of Literary Discourse in the Emergence of Pahlavi Rule” appeared in Tarbiat Modares Literary Studies, offering a critical examination of the intersection between literature and political transformation. In Literary Studies, he explored the ideological dimensions of Mahmoud Dowlatabadi’s short stories in “An Ideological Analysis of the Historical State–Nation Conflict in the Short Stories of Mahmoud Dowlatabadi.” He has also contributed to research on classical literature with his article “The Function of Episodic Structure in the Tarikh-i Bayhaqi: A Case Study of the Events Involving Abu Bakr Hasiri and the Tale of Afshin and Budulf,” published in the Journal of Didactic Literature. Additionally, his intertextual study titled “To Be or Not to Be: An Intertextual Reading of William Shakespeare, Ahmad Shamlou, and Mehdi Akhavan-Sales” was published in Comparative Literature Quarterly.
