Definition:

Sarvar Mahkāmah Muhassis (b. 1912—d. 1977) was an Iranian poet, calligrapher, and women’s rights activist. She was born in the city of Lahijan in northern Iran and was drawn to poetry from an early age. She was the first woman to become a member of the Congress of Iranian Writers. Her poetry challenged patriarchy and took up the social conditions of the day.
